
Expected hotel and non-hotel occupancy rates for the first three months of 2025 are 82%, 76%, and 71% for hotels, and 85%, 80%, and 73% for non-hotel establishments. Additionally, the confidence index for hotels shows a 1.73% increase compared to the same period in 2024, while the index for apartments decreases by 0.68%.
55% of hotel managers in the Canary Islands expect a favorable business outlook for the first quarter of 2025, while 6% see it as unfavorable. In non-hotel establishments, 54% anticipate a favorable outlook, with 4% expecting an unfavorable one.
Regarding key business climate factors, most managers from both sectors (77% for hotels and 91% for non-hotels) expect stability in employment, investment, prices, and revenue. Similarly, a significant percentage of managers from both types of establishments believe that occupancy will remain stable compared to the first quarter of 2024 (57.13% for hotels and 64.13% for non-hotels).
